Audit and alarms
The main challenge of clinical trials is to deliver patient-specifi c disease data in a standardized, tabularly readable form. This facilitates the comparison of new medical interventions with previous standards. More specifi cally, a sample of patients is drawn and randomly allocated to two structurally identical groups. Interventions between patient and physician are concealed as far as possible.
The exact number of study participants is dependent on the statistical distribution of characteristics of the population and on the size of the minimum detectable difference between the two groups. All necessary activities of the trial are documented in terms of a work instruction before the study and thereby provide the basis for the approval procedure and the guideline for the implementation of the study.
ADHERENCE IN A CONTINUOUS
